dflop.app by default won't run on a machine running macOS. I vaguely understand this to be because Apple expects all applications to be signed, which costs a bajillion dollars.

If you open dflop.app and receive a message saying "dflop is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the Trash," you should try following various steps outlined on this GitHub webpage. One of those should hopefully work?
